Audrey Lynn McKinnon, 61

Audrey Lynn McKinnon, 61, was called to her eternal home in heaven on Monday, May 7, 2018 at San Juan Regional Hospital in Farmington, NM. She was born to the late Albert and Victoria Kopczenski in Camden, New Jersey on June 14th, 1956.

Audrey married her beloved husband, Peter Henry McKinnon, in 1978 and spent over 40 wonderful years together.

Audrey grew up in Maple Shade, New Jersey and graduated from Maple Shade High School in 1974. After moving to Alaska, she continued her education and graduated from University of Anchorage Alaska. She proudly worked many positions throughout her career as an accountant, comptroller, tax advisor, and bookkeeper for more than thirty years. Audrey was always active in volunteering and lending a helping hand wherever needed. She also was proud to be a Juice Plus+ distributor as she was very spirited about spreading health and wellness with her family, friends, and anyone willing to learn. She truly enjoyed traveling across the country to see family and friends, camping, sewing, gardening, hiking, going to Mexico, exploring the Grand Canyon, and sharing the Holy Word with loved ones.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Peter McKinnon, her son, Casey McKinnon, her daughter, Mercedes ‘Sadie’ McKinnon; her granddaughter, Alex Vigil-McKinnon, her grandson, Luke McKinnon Zollars, her seven siblings, Alberta Dellaratta, Albert Kopczenski, Vivian McGuire, Victor Kopczenski, Vincent Kopczenski, Valerie Barnett, and Anita Campion, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many, many friends who she’d consider her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Kopczenski and her sister, Victoria Walters.

A Celebration of Life event will be on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 11:00AM at The Bloomfield Assembly of God Church, 211 E. Oak Street, Bloomfield, NM. Pastor Ed Wolfard will be officiating. The Celebration will be followed by a potluck style lunch also at The Bloomfield Assembly of God Church.
All who loved Audrey are welcome. Please where bright and lively colors or whatever is comfortable.

Upon her request, in lieu of flowers or traveling for services, Audrey has requested donations to her memorial contribution account with the San Juan Medical Foundation. She was very passionate about fundraising for and also participating in the Cancer Walk-a-Thon which contributes to the Connelly Hospitality House that helps cancer patients and their families during treatment.
